We are delighted to announce a special performance from 60s electronic music pioneers, the legendary Silver Apples. Performances are rare, this show is not to be missed.
On the sliding scale of cultdom, Silver Apples are the real deal. One of the first groups to employ electronic music techniques extensively within a rock idiom, the band’s hypnotic beats and electronic pulses anticipated not only the abstracted psychedelia of krautrock, but have influenced everyone from Kraftwerk, Spacemen 3 and Suicide to name only a few. An anomaly in their own era, the band’s primitive futurism remains largely unparalleled with a far ranging influence on contemporary avant garde music.
